About Me
I am an award-winning writer, filmmaker, editor, and professor. My most recent scripts, Ghost Light and The Acolyte, have won numerous awards–including Best Screenplay at the Southern Horror Film Festival for The Acolyte. I am currently the Film Crew Technology Program Director at the Columbia State Community College’s Franklin campus. My work in commercial video production & post has earned me two corporate top-honor awards from KINKO's and The Bridgestone Group, as well as three Telly Awards for my work with the Tennessee Center for Child Welfare. As a bit of trivia, my first paid film production gig was in 1983 when I was a freshman in college. I was an uncredited local (Nashville) Production Assistant for the film Starman, starring Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen.
